Good morning and welcome back...Today we read through Genesis 3:1-24. We learned about the tree of life and we learned that Eve was deceived by a serpent. We learned how crafty and tricky this serpent was and how Eve was tricked into eating from the tree that the Lord commanded her not to. We also learned that there are severe consequences for disobeying the Lord. All three had sinned. Eve, Adam, and the Serpent...and all three were punished severely. Adam and Eve also realized they were naked and were ashamed. The Lord made them garments of skins and clothed them He also could no longer trust them not to eat from the tree of life and sent them out of the garden. He put up cherubim and flaming swords in all 4 directions to guard the way to tree of life.This is all getting interesting now...Please join me in tomorrow's reading of Genesis 4:1-26 We will be learning about Cain and Abel.
