Hello and welcome back...Today we read Genesis 6:1-22. We learned about Noah. We learned how the earth became corrupt and we learned that the Lord was going to destroy all that he had made. We also learned that the Lord had favor on Noah and decided to spare him and his family.The Lord told Noah to build an ark and told him how and what to build it with. He also told him to gather two of every kind of animal, male and female along with his family and food for all.
Now can you just picture this scene...a very old man,we learned earlier that Noah was 500 yrs old when he had his sons...So how old do you think he could have been when his sons were grown with wives of their own? He must have looked like a mad man...remembering also that this world they lived in was corrupt...I don't think they were nice to Noah for following what the Lord had commanded.
