Genesis 44:1-34

Hello and welcome back...Today we read through Genesis 44:1-34

In today's reading we learned that the morning after the feast, the men were sent on their way...but before they left Joseph commanded his servants to fill their sacks with as much as they could carry and to add silver cup to one of them. The following morning as the men were traveling home Joseph sent his stewards to track them down and search their sacks...they did so and when they did they found a silver cup in the youngest son's sack. They stewards then wanted to bring them back and imprison him for stealing the cup.

They were brought before Joseph...who said that the youngest son shall be put in prison for stealing...Judah stood up for him...my father shall die if you take his son away...he shall not loose yet another son...(Joseph knew what they were talking about when they said another son)

OHhhh the story is getting good...please join me in tomorrow's reading of Genesis 45:1-28 where Joseph shows himself to his brothers at last...
